About my Parents: My dad is my high school principal! My mom is a designer! They both played college athletics (mom-soccer/ dad-football).

Are you willing to switch positions? Of course! I love playing forward, and that’s my current position. I’ve played midfielder many times, and would be happy to play there. I’ve even had some coaches say I may play left or right back at the next level because of my grit and speed.  Whatever it takes and whatever helps the team! 

What do you think of the transfer portal? It certainly helps some teams, and allows players to make a change if necessary, but I’m hoping to find the perfect place for me the first time around. I understand why they do it, but I’m hoping I don’t!

How will you know a school is right for you? While the school and town are important, it’s more about the family you are joining. I come from two collegiate athletes and I’m looking to create the memories I hear them talk about all the time. 

Are you looking to go to school far or near? Everyone says they’ll go anywhere, but being honest, I want to stay fairly close. My family has been an integral part of this journey and I want them to see me play in person while in college. 

What level do you want to play at? That doesn’t matter to me.  I know I am a D1 talent, but many DII schools and NAIA schools would beat some DI schools.  So honestly, it’s more about the school, town and most importantly, soccer family. 

Update on the injury: I tore my ACL on October 15, 2023 like many, many female soccer players before and since.  We purposely sought after Dr. Riboh for his work with college and pro soccer players (Duke, Charlotte FC, etc.) and am rehabbing at Architech Sports, where many college and professional athletes rehab their injuries.  The results will speak for themselves, as I plan to come back better than ever! So far, nothing but perfect reports from my surgeon and rehab therapist.
